Locals Need Access: Bridget Fox with Cally Road resident Dominic. Bridget says, "Network Rail must think again."
Lib Dem campaigner Bridget Fox is fighting to keep local access to Kings Cross station.
At present there is an entrance to Kings Cross station near Wharfdale Road. Network Rail have refused to keep the entrance open when the station is rebuilt. Local residents came up with an idea for a pedestrian bridge, but Network Rail has now rejected it.
Bridget says, "People have used this entrance for years; it's safe and convenient. More people are moving into the area all the time. When the main station entrance moves to the St. Pancras side, we'll need an entrance this side more than ever. Network Rail are ignoring local views. We want them to think again."
Pitching Up: Bridget with concerned mum Helen.
Local residents want action to deal with the sunken pitch between Vibart walk and the back of York way.
Neighbours on Campbell Walk and Vibart Walk have suffered noise and broken windows from balls being kicked over the wall. The gate was locked up, but now vandals have broken in.
Bridget says, "Residents tell me they want something done; put a proper cage roof over the pitch or convert it to another community use. At the moment, it's just a dangerous mess."

The Post Office have confirmed that the latest victims of the closure plans, backed by Gordon Brown's unpopular Labour government, will be the Post Offices at 100 and 492 Caledonian Road.
Post Office bosses ignored objections from Islington's Lib Dem Council and a 1000+ signature petition from local people.
Meanwhile controversial local MP Emily Thornberry dismissed the sub-post offices as "just a counter in a shop." In March this year, she failed to vote with Lib Dem MPs to block the closure programme.
Mackenzie Road resident Pat Croci says, "This is very bad news for our area. I don't know what the pensioners will do without their local post office."
Campaigner Bridget Fox adds, "Post offices are a vital part of our community. It's crazy to close them. People round here have been let down by Labour."
Mayor of London Boris Johnson has now admitted that his plans to replace bendy buses are an aspiration rather than a firm commitment, following questions from London Lib Dems.
Local campaigner Bridget Fox says, "Islington residents hate bendy buses. They are dangeorus, encourage fare-dodging, and take up too much space on our roads. Boris made big promises about the buses; now he has to deliver."
