Bridget Fox and Abdul Ahad with supporters at Kings Cross mosque
Bridget Fox and fellow Liberal Democrat campaigners met supporters at the Kings Cross mosque on Caledonian Road.
Bridget was joined by Caledonian ward council candidate Abdul Ahad. A local school governor, Abdul lives off Pentonville Road with his family. He has been involved in the Bengali Workers' Association (BWA) and has helped raise funds for the Kentish Town Baitul Aman Mosque.
Bridget and colleagues mingled with worshippers after Friday prayers.
Bridget says, "Members of Islington's Muslim community tell us they have been let down by Labour - over the illegal war in Iraq, and also over pressing local issues like housing and jobs. Liberal Democrats are proud to represent all sections of Islington's diverse community."
