Bridget with her Vote Cruelty Free plegde
Bridget Fox, Liberal Democrat shadow MP for Islington South and Finsbury, has pledged to Vote Cruelty Free and is urging other candidates and the sitting MP to do the same.
Vote Cruelty Free comprises the BUAV, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Compassion in World Farming, Respect for Animals and the League Against Cruel Sports. They work to make sure that the political process and what politicians do really reflects how the public feel about animal cruelty and protection.
Bridget Fox said:
"I'm passionate about ending cruelty to animals. As an animal lover and pet owner myself, I get angry about the suffering some animals are still put through.
Vote Cruelty Free has come up with a list of practical policies to protect animals and end pointless cruelty.
I'm proud to have pledged to Vote Cruelty Free. I call on the other candidates for Islington South and Finsbury to follow my lead and sign up too."
