> Festive lights for Christmas
> Additional street cleaning
> More refuse collections on housing estates
> Extra night refuse collections
> Action on anti-social behaviour
Bridget and Anna welcome the Lib Dem investment in Islington's environment
Cllr Bridget Fox, Executive Member for Sustainability, says:
"Clean streets and good refuse services have a huge impact on the quality of life for local people in Islington. The Liberal Democrats are committed to continue making Islington a cleaner, greener borough to live in, and this investment will build on our success so far."
Cllr Anna Berent (Mildmay Ward) says:
"Walking down the streets in Mildmay, you can really see what a difference the Lib Dems have made since we took control of the council. The ongoing investment in lighting, new street sweeping machines, and better refuse collection has made Islington a pleasanter place to live for everyone."
