BETTER SERVICES FOR LYON STREET HOUSING AREA

There's good news for tenants and residents across the Lyon Street housing area this Christmas. They have gained major benefits from the Liberal Democrat Council taking over the management of their homes earlier this year. Tenants are already starting to see some changes and more will be introduced throughout the autumn including:
- Steam cleaning of all communal areas including bins
- Improved advice services
- Faster lumber collections
- More action on anti-social behaviour
- Better phone service through Contact Islington
Local Lib Dem Councillor Margot Dunn said:
"It's fantastic news that the Lib Dem Council has given this area such high priority. We will soon have small improvements across all the estates in this area. There is still a lot to do but as a Lib Dem councillor I will continue to push for even greater improvements."
