Lib Dem Councillor James Kempton reports good news for residents around Pleasant Place Gardens and River Place both in St Mary's ward. James has been able to secure £10,000 funding to improve these forgotten green spaces, benefiting residents and all who use the area.
James said: "These are small spaces, that can get over looked but they are of great importance to the people who live around them and use them.
"The Lib Dem Council are improving greenspaces right across the borough, big parks like Whittington, Barnard and Gillespie are all having works done but there are also many smaller spaces and 'forgotten corners' in our borough which are also getting improvements and investment."
