New parking spaces for Brecknock Road shops

Local councillors Angela Brook and Graham Baker are celebrating the introduction of new parking bays for shoppers on Brecknock Road.
Twelve new pay and display parking bays on the road will be dedicated to customer parking to help the shops on the road.
Cllr Graham Baker says: "This is very good news. With the introduction of the St George's North and South CPZ's to make parking easier for residents, we want to make sure that there's plenty of parking for the customers of local shops too."
Cllr Angela Brook says: "Local shops are and important part of the community, so measures to help them like this are important. The new spaces will have a time limit of two hours to make sure it's the local shops that most benefit from them by helping to maximise the number of customers who can visit the shops on Brecknock Road"
