Bridget welcomes latest wave of street improvements

Islington's Lib Dem Council is planning major improvements to more streets in the borough. Streets including Tufnell Park Road, Gillespie Road, Balls Pond Road and St Paul's Road will see improved pavements and road surfaces, street furniture repainted, litterbins replaced, drains improved, street clutter removed and pedestrian crossings upgraded by Islington Council over the next few months.

Cllr Bridget Fox says:

"This is excellent news for local residents and visitors and is part of our commitment to improve Islington's environment to make it a pleasanter, greener borough for us all to live in. In addition, we plan to use recycled materials wherever possible, as part of our commitment to protecting our environment for the future."
