Islington's residents need truth on war

Cllr Laura Willoughby has attacked the government after the announcement that the remit of the new war enquiry - the Butler Inquiry - does not address the central political, public question that people want to get an answer to ? whether or not there was political influence of political judgment n deciding to go to war. She contrasted it with the remit of the American ?Franks Inquiry? which was charged to ?review the way the responsibilities of Government were discharged, taking account of all such factors as are relevant? ? something, she said, the Butler Inquiry would not do.?Islington residents - who marched in large numbers at the many demo's over the past year need to know the truth.?
