Better Driver Behaviour on buses

Cllr Laura Willoughby, the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary spokesperson for Islington North, has backed calls for more training for bus drivers. She has joined together with GLA Member Lynne Featherstone after responses to her bus survey showed that driver behaviour was a big issue. Laura said: ?The introduction of speed limiters and training for existing bus drivers to improve bus their behaviour would be a great help. Drivers should also wear name badges or for identification numbers to be much more visible to make it easier for people to report examples of bad behaviour. ?Islington residents continually report drivers that don't stop, are rude to passengers or even use mobile phones.?
