Stefan Kasprzyk - local candidate for local by-election

Stefan Kasprzyk lives in St John's Way which becomes part of Junction ward after next year's boundary changes. He was born here, and has lived all his life here - he is a genuine local candidate. Stefan is a electronics computer consultant and was for many years a trade union official within the Post Office. On his selection as the prospective candidate he said: "The council by-election on 7 June will be important for residents of Islington. The Liberal Democrats have been running Islington Council for fifteen months after 30 years of Labour rule. The council by-election will be all about whether or not you think they are doing a good job or whether you want Labour back in charge of the Town Hall. As someone born in this area I think this is important."
